Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received, opened and read aloud in public at the Boardroom of the South Jersey Port Corporation, Broadway Terminal,
2500 Broadway, Camden, New Jersey 08101 on Tuesday, July 22, 2009.
The project consists of the removal of approximately 4600 linear feet of existing rail, etc. and replacing the required rail, etc. A detailed work plan will be provided in the bid document.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. EST at the South Jersey Port Corporation, Beckett Street Terminal, Camden, New Jersey. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a bond, certified check or cashier’s check for not less than 10% of the amount of the proposed contract fee made payable to the South Jersey Port Corporation. However, no proposer shall be required to make a deposit in excess of $20,000.
One (1) original and five (5) copies of the proposal must be received by Thursday, July 23, 2009 no later than 2:00 p.m. EST to the address listed above. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the proposer, proposal due date and time and the name of the project on the outside of the envelope. Please be advised that using overnight delivery services DOES NOT GUARANTEE next day deliveries to the above location. Proposers are required to comply with all New Jersey bid statutes and regulations.
