Dominick J. Burzichelli currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer of Rowan College of South Jersey, where he reports directly to the President and Board of Trustees. In this role, he provides executive leadership for the College’s financial strategy, operational effectiveness, and long-term institutional sustainability.

With more than two decades of senior leadership experience in higher education, Mr. Burzichelli has overseen all major administrative and operational functions, including finance, human resources, facilities and grounds, information technology, safety and security, purchasing, and capital planning. He has led comprehensive budgeting and enrollment-driven financial planning for a multi-campus institution serving more than 7,000 students, with an annual operating budget exceeding $62 million. His leadership includes oversight of major capital construction and renovation projects, shared services initiatives, and organizational transformations that strengthened efficiency and fiscal resilience.

Mr. Burzichelli has extensive experience in public-sector labor relations, having served as chief negotiator and administrator for multiple collective bargaining agreements. Earlier in his career, he held senior executive roles in the private sector, including vice president positions in human resources and operations, where he led large-scale workforce development, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational growth initiatives.

Mr. Burzichelli was appointed to the SJPC Board of Directors in December 2025, representing Gloucester County.

Mr. Burzichelli holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Widener University and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University.

Mr. Burzichelli currently serves on several civic and professional boards, including the Gloucester County Police Advisory Board, the Greenwich Township Planning Board, the Southern New Jersey Development Council, and the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America Foundation Board. He is a former long term Trustee of Rutgers University.
